DESCRIPTION

I just love the volume of this piece and the fact is made of sterling silver.  As you well know I am a big fan of sterling silver – It is my favourite material.  I also like the fact that they are two great pieces in one piece.  I am not so much fan of motion pieces but this is an extraordinary exception.

With a tag of £17,000 I guess this piece is a real eye candy, as much as I would like to have it. It is only ever for me to gaze upon.

DESCRIPTION

This new chair has a contemporary/retro vibe that I really like.  The inspiration comes from a  shell shape that evokes a birds cage. 

 

I feel this kind of shape cocoons you in a safe but yet close place.  Some of the lines remained me the chairs that Kelly Wearstler uses in some of her interior design projects.

 

This is the kind of piece that is memorable and makes a strong statement at the same time.  Loves it!

The Atlas dining table has a top of smooth stained oak, on cast metal legs whose pierced, attenuated form was inspired by Oceanic sculpture - but also makes the idea table base, gracefully avoiding diners’ legs.

This piece by Ashley Hicks has a “Je ne sais quoi” quality to it.  The table has very interesting visual weight as a complete piece and definitely exudes a very sleek contemporary vibe. 

 

The fact that the main material is solid oak makes it warm, real.   The legs, I have to say, are my favourite part, they are organic and futuristic.  The blend of all these elements makes this piece memorable and unique.
